The “ENI CBC Mediterranean Sea Basin Programme 2014-2020” is a multilateral cross-border cooperation programme co-financed by the European Union under the European Neighbourhood Instrument (ENI). The Programme provides the framework for the implementation of cross-border cooperation activities in the context of the European Neighbourhood Policy, complementing efforts exerted within the framework of the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership, with the final aim of developing an area of peace, stability, prosperity and good neighbourliness involving EU Mediterranean Countries (EUMC) and Mediterranean Partner Countries (MPCs).

• A.1 Business and SMEs development
• A.2 Support to education, research, technological development and innovation
• A.3 Promotion of social inclusion and the fight against poverty
• B.4 Environmental protection, climate change adaptation and mitigation

Limitation to participation

In the framework of this call for capitalisation projects, the same organisation can participate only once as Applicant under each Thematic Objective. No limitation applies for the participation at partner level. In case an organisation participates in more than one project as Applicant under the same Thematic Objective, all concerned projects submitted within that Thematic Objective will be considered ineligible under this call. The same Applicant cannot be awarded more than two (2) grants as Lead Beneficiary under this call for proposals. In case more than two (2) proposals from the same Applicant are preselected according to the rules for this call, only the two (2) best ranked proposals will be included in the list of projects to be financed.

Programme contribution to the projects and co-financing rate

The Programme contribution to the projects may cover up to 90% of the total eligible costs of the project. The remaining percentage, which cannot be less than 10% of the total eligible costs of the project, has to be provided by the project partners’ own resources, or by public and private sources other than European Community Budget or the European Development Fund, as co-financing rate

Duration of projects

The planned duration of a project must be between 12 and 24 months

*Οι φορείς της Περιφέρειας Δυτικής Μακεδονίας μπορούν να συμμετέχουν στο πρόγραμμα, αφού η Δυτική Μακεδονία είναι επιλέξιμη περιφέρεια ως ADJOINING REGION (σελ. 4), ενώ η χρηματοδότηση των έργων είναι 90% από την Ε.Ε. και 10% από ιδίους πόρους.
